Dove With Two Olive Branches
The dove with the olive branch is a universally recognised emblem of peace or goodwill.
The Kuki National Organisation has adopted this motif to represent its political objectives. The dove stands for the organisation, and the two olive branches to show goodwill towards all peoples and to the countries, India and Burma. The British colonialists divided Zale’n-gam, Kuki ancestral lands, between these two countries. In each country, KNO seeks statehood for the Kuki people through peaceful means.
